Your child is “a whole child”—of course that’s true. Your child knows it; you know it; and we know it too.
So how does one educate the “whole child”?
At Denver Christian, educating the whole child means understanding that your child’s self-image, perception of others, and way of seeing and relating to God and the world are formed and shaped and developed by countless experiences, big and small, inside and outside the classroom. It means providing a multiplicity of opportunities for involvement.
And it means working hard to make all of those experiences and opportunities matter.
“High school is all about involvement. When people get involved, they get connected! All of the different aspects of student life are opportunities for us to get involved, enjoy ourselves, and learn how to apply our talents in the world. In a small, God-centered environment like Denver Christian, it is easy, even encouraged, to participate in many activities at once.”
